Every spring shelters experience what’s known as kitten season, when they suddenly become inundated with hundreds of newborn kittens who require intensive care, formula, warmth, and supplies to survive. This release is a small act of rebellion against the darkness in the world. When the world is burning and the sirens are sounding, we might as well sing along defiantly and create something beautiful together in the chaos instead.
